Question 1

How are clinic ratings and rankings calculated?

Accepted Answer

Our ratings are mathematically calculated as the unweighted arithmetic average of five objective sub-scores: Hygiene & Safety (1-5), English Communication (1-5), Value for Money (1-5), Technology & Equipment (1-5), and Aftercare Support (1-5). Overall star scores cannot be manually typed or inflated by editors. In rankings and directory listings, clinics sort strictly by this calculated score or user-selected filters.

Question 2

Can clinics pay to be ranked #1 or receive a "Featured" badge?

Accepted Answer

No. BestDentalClinicsVietnam.com does not accept sponsorship, paid placements, advertising banners, or placement fees. There are no "Featured" badges or sponsored listings. A clinic’s rank is earned exclusively through audited performance across our five core criteria.

Question 3

What is the difference between the star rating and the "Verified" badge?

Accepted Answer

The star rating represents composite performance across our 5 evaluation pillars. The green "Verified Accreditation" badge is an independent checkmark indicating that our audit team has physically or digitally verified the clinic’s active Ministry of Health operating license, surgeon diplomas, and ISO/JCI compliance certificates, rather than relying on self-reported claims.

Question 4

Is this site affiliated with any of the dental clinics listed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, full disclosure: BestDentalClinicsVietnam.com is operated by a digital publishing group that also holds an ownership affiliation with Lotus International Dental Center in Da Nang. Under our strict editorial charter, this clinic is evaluated using the exact same profile template, identical 5-pillar scoring rubric, and unmanipulated placement as every competitor. It receives no special badge, no larger card, and no artificial priority in listings.

Question 5

Why do you disclose your clinic affiliation so prominently?

Accepted Answer

Trust is the foundation of healthcare decisions. Hiding commercial relationships destroys credibility and violates international guidelines on transparent medical publishing. By making our methodology auditable and our affiliations transparent, international patients can evaluate data with complete confidence.

Question 6

How does this directory connect with other dental tourism websites?

Accepted Answer

This directory is part of an informational network that includes educational resources like Vietnam Medical Travel Guide (Site 4) for trip logistics, Da Nang Dental Hub (Site 5) for local regional insights, and DentalTreatmentVietnam.com (Site 1). Each site maintains its own distinct editorial voice and function within the patient research journey.

Question 7

How often is clinic information verified or updated?

Accepted Answer

Every clinic profile displays a visible "Last verified: [Date]" timestamp. Our team audits clinic operating licenses, doctor rosters, equipment inventories, and patient fee disclosures at least once every 12 months. Any profile not reverified within 12 months triggers a flagged reverification notice in our directory and backend management system.

Question 8

What accreditations or certifications should I look for in a Vietnamese dental clinic?

Accepted Answer

First and foremost, look for a valid Ministry of Health (MoH) Operating License issued by the municipal Department of Health (Sở Y Tế). Additional credible benchmarks include ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification, hospital-grade Class-B autoclave sterilization protocols, and lead surgeons holding memberships in international bodies such as the ITI (International Team for Implantology) or ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists).

Question 9

What should I do if I have a complaint or dispute with a clinic listed here?

Accepted Answer

If you experience substandard care, unexpected fees, or unresolved complications at a listed facility, please contact our Editorial Review Board via our dedicated contact portal. We record all patient incident reports, review them against clinic responses, and may suspend or downgrade a clinic’s score if unresolved safety or ethical breaches occur.

Question 10

How can dental clinics claim or update their listing?

Accepted Answer

Any licensed dental clinic in Vietnam can use the "Claim or update this listing" link on their profile or submit documentation through our verified portal. We review license certificates, equipment lists, and pricing menus directly with clinic clinical directors before updating public records.
